Personal Update
Beer tasting, family issues, a face scratch… oh my!
It was a crazy weekend, and I posted infrequently starting last Wednesday. I have a lot of personal things making life hectic, including my grandmother getting very sick, Lucy accidentally scratching my cheek (my new nickname: Jigsaw… does anyone else get this besides JD and Denard?), and our good friend Graham premiering his second batch of home brew at our house. I promise to give you more regular posts this week, including the start to a fun series on Friday and showing you a beautiful crafts project from a long-distance friend. Until then, here are some fun pictures of the weekend.

Also, I’ve been thinking lately what in the world I am doing with this blog, why do I keep it going, and why do I keep it up? Especially perplexing is how someone landed here at Schmate by googling, “lady in moustache.” Any non-insulting help on this topic would be greatly appreciated.
First, how many of his beers had Graham consumed when that last picture was taken?
Second, you blog so I can see all of your faces (jigsaw pictures please) and hear what your doing when we can’t talk or see each other as much as we would like.
