Get On With It Already
It’s been a busy, distracting week. We’re house-sitting, I got a new cell phone (a BlackBerry Curve, woot woot!), and JD was convinced that I can leave the house wearing a dress and leggings and no boots (although I’m still not completely comfortable with the look just yet… I feel like Peter Pan, probably because my dress is green). The Friday Feast tomorrow is a fun one: my first attempt at bread pudding. But for today, I wanted to show you this great Etsy find.
I’ve been thinking a lot recently about making my own notecards, while including some calligraphy and drawings. This past week was actually the National Stationery Show in New York, so some in my blogroll have been highlighting their finds.
One of my current favorite stationery shops is orangebeautiful, which is actually having a sale and free shipping until May 31st. I love the delicate way calligraphy is thrown in with standard type, and the witty quips on some of the cards are priceless.
A 6-pack of “Just a Note” cards are on sale for $9. Isn’t this beautiful?
This is my favorite piece in the whole shop: a limited edition screen print for $10.
This check ledger is super cute. It costs $6 of bling.
Oh do I love this birthday card sampler: three cards with different birthday messages, for $8.
Don’t forget to check out her blog too.

I want to know more about the dress/leggings look. I love the look and it is very popular here with the locals (average height 5′ 5″ 80lbs). However my question is “What is the appropriate age for this look?”
