Thursday Link Love
A few things… one, it’s Homecoming and Reunion week here at Vandy. If you work for the Alumni Association, like I do, this week is nuts. So, bear with me (ie: no Friday Feast).
Secondly, my break from Twitter and Facebook is going great. I love how much more time I seem to have. And I don’t feel “trapped” by them, and I especially don’t procrastinate as much. My only problem is that I have nowhere to express myself. Just yesterday, I absolutely slammed my finger in a drawer… blood, purple bruising, the works. Usually, I’d go right to Twitter and get out my frustration at my clumsiness. Instead, I just wallowed to a coworker. It didn’t feel the same.
Also, now that I’m Twitter- and Facebook-free, I don’t have a forum to share simple fun things. I really do need to make this post a series or something. So, you faithful blog readers will have to humor me. Here we go.
a) It is hard to find good-looking folding chairs. b) I love Pantone and the Pantone mugs I’ve seen. c) I love funny furniture… I don’t know why. I’m weird. d) all of the above = Pantone folding chairs! I love this! (Thanks, How about Orange)

Painting a herringbone design on your wall? Yes, please. Will someone help me with this? It looks awesome.

Guys, when I have hoards and hoards of children, I want to do this for Halloween. But, I’d rather put JD in the actual Pac-Man costume. (He’d love it.)

Nashville’s Annie Blogs made this awesome fruit salad. Wowie, it looks good. Friday Feast next summer?

I really love this Fireworks rug from Anthropologie, but geez, it’s ‘spensive. Why are rugs so pricy??
See you guys next week!

Kate, that embroidery is amazing! Thanks for thinking of me – I now HAVE to run out and get my signature latte right this second… Who am I to ignore signs from the universe? :)
P.S. I tweeted about it, so you can live vicariously through me – at least as far as the lattes go…
Thanks for thinking of me Kate! I do LOVE my pumpkin spice lattes and pretty much anything pumpkin.
