Friday Feast: Alice’s Hot Artichoke Dip

May 29, 2009

I’m on my way to San Antonio this weekend for the joyous occasion of Graham and Claire’s wedding! Fun times will be had, I’m sure. But, for you, dear reader, I’m still posting my Friday Feast but without pictures. (It got quite hectic around the house!)

Here’s a great appetizer from my good buddy Alice, who is quite the cook. You may remember Alice’s mom’s pie crust recipe for the wonderful apple tart I made at Thanksgiving.

 Alice’s Hot Artichoke Dip

Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Cooking Time: 30 minutes

Cleanup Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:

13 oz can artichokes

1 small onion, chopped

1/2 cup grated cheddar

1/2 cup sour cream

1/2 cup mayo

Drain and chop artichokes.

Combine all ingredients.

Bake at 350 degrees for thirty minutes until bubbly.

Yep! That’s it, and it is wonderful! I first served the dip for the Titans v. Colts match-up last fall, but I served it again last week when the weather was warmer… it was still the perfect appetizer.

Have a great weekend everyone!
