Vosges Haut-Chocolat

I don’t talk about my job here on Schmate, mostly because I like to keep paycheck-producing work and non-paycheck-producing work (Schmate) apart. Occasionally, I get creative ideas from my coworkers, but being in Alumni Relations at Vandy just isn’t blog-worthy.

Yet, one amazing perk about my job (besides the awesome fitness center, yoga classes, and tuition benefits) is finding out about super cool Vanderbilt alumni. One particular alumna who has done very well since her time as a student at Vanderbilt is Katrina Markoff, the creator of Vosges Haut-Chocolat.

Her chocolates and other comfort foods are just ridiculous… Mo’s Bacon Bar! caramel marshmallows! ancho chilli truffles!

My favorite has to be the Mo’s Bacon Chocolate Chip Pancake Mix. (You did read that correctly. Bacon. Chocolate Chips. Pancakes.)

Yes, we are far away from Valentine’s Day and Christmas, but do I really need an excuse to talk about awesome chocolate?
