Friday Feast: Megster Meter’s Goodies

February 12, 2010

I’m not going to lie, this week has been pretty crazy. I did some house-sitting, along with a nighttime work event, plus Vandy played UT Tuesday night, so I had very little time to cook when I got home. When I finally did cook last night, I just popped in a homemade pizza, which you already know how to do!

I am so excited about the month of March because I’ll be featuring some recipes from my Uncle Dickie, who is a master in the kitchen. Plus, they’ll have a Louisiana flair, which will be super fun.

For now, on this crazy Friday, I’m featuring some really great recipes that my friend and fellow blogger Meghan has done over the past few months that are just dynamite. Meghan and I have a lot in common when it comes to food, crafts and blogging, so I wanted to give her a little credit for all the cool things she’s concocted lately. (Also, she’s a great photographer, so her food looks professional!) Here are some of my favorites:

Red Velvet Cake Bites (perfect for Valentine’s Day!)

Corn Souffle (yes please!)

Peanut Butter Bars (These things are magnificent!)

Sweet Corn Muffins with Green Chilies

Beer Dip (Super easy and perfect for game nights)

Blueberry French Toast Bake

Cheesy Chicken Enchiladas

Thin Mint Fudge (It’s Girl Scout cookie time anyway! This is perfect to try right now.)

Here are all of Meghan’s recipes… she does such a great job at consistently making great food!

And, don’t worry, I’ll be back next Friday, showing you my attempt to make homemade chicken wings for my Valentine.
