Table Runner Round Up

June 28, 2010

Faraway friend Cheryl (and fellow PHS Green Wave alumna) is transitioning into her new life and new apartment in Seattle. She sent me a ton of links of different things she has bought from Etsy to adorn her new abode. But, Cheryl’s stumped on a table runner. I personally love table runners. My current springtime favorite is the one JD and I bought from Sprout Home in Chicago last July.

But, there are tons of great table runner options, and here’s my roundup of ten shops. (As always, click on each picture to follow the link to the source.)

I always have to start with Kainkain, although the shipping time can be a little lengthy. But, the selection is great.

For the occasions where you may only need a solid color to accent a larger centerpiece or an ornate spread, Filz Felt has a great selection of wool felt table runners in solids.

Etsy seller Karen Thurman has some pretty wet felted table runners, most on the small size, and could be better characterized as centerpieces or perfect for round tables.

Floratouch‘s items are quite nice… and floral! But affordable.

Dining Out Etsy shop has some cuties, especially this Twitter-inspired runner.

More felt options! I love them because they are simple and pretty. Here’s a few from Moufelt.

Hand Print by Sima has a few pretty hand-stamped options.

Oooh feathers and more at Elkhorn Design.

Very new shop by Moira Adams promises modern tableclothes… polka dots on your table, anyone? Yes please!

Toodleoo is a cute shop with only a few items, but I love the colorful utensils runner.

I also found this great tutorial on how to take old doilies to make them into a table runner by Ashley Ann at Under the Sycamore.

I need something to find next! Tell me what you’re looking for, and I’ll try to find it!
