Friday Feast: Sauteed Mushrooms

Recently, I found a pretty great mushroom recipe that may make most of you say, “Duh!” But to me, I’m thrilled to find a solid combination of ingredients that make raw mushrooms delightful! I’ve added these mushrooms as a side or on top of a pork loin, and they are perfect.

Sautéed Mushrooms

Preparation time: 2 minutes

Cook time: 10 minutes

Cleanup time: 3 minutes


2 tablespoons butter

1/2 tablespoon olive oil

1/2 tablespoon balsamic vinegar

1 garlic clove

1/8 teaspoon oregano

1 pound button mushrooms

  • Melt butter in saucepan, and then add all ingredients.
  • Saute for about 7-10 minutes until fragrant. (I sometimes add more ingredients depending on what I feel is lacking… it just tastes so good!)
