Pop

July 25, 2011

I’m in Ponchatoula today for the funeral of my last grandparent — Pop, seen above on his wedding day to my grandmother in 1945. It’s the end of an era, for me personally, especially to lose someone from which all of my stubbornness is derived! He was a heck of a card-player, another trait I won’t forget.

I’ll be back to normal posting on Wednesday.
