Clock it to me

September 7, 2011

I am so very excited to show you the nursery re-do after Mom and I slaved away painting all weekend. But, I’m not ready yet! We still have to move a very large piece of furniture and then I’ll premiere the pretty walls. So, just wait another week… I’ll show you how everything developed.

Now that I have nursery decor on the brain, I’m sure you can guess from my style that I’ll do a cluster of pictures in there. We already received a very sweet elephant canvas picture for the room, and I’m excited to pair it with others. While perusing Etsy to find more great matches, I checked a favorite shop — Decoylab — that has a large variety of clocks.

One thing Mom and I noticed while painting the room was that neither of us ever knew what time it was. When you’re downstairs in our house, there are tons of clocks everywhere. But upstairs, it feels like you’re in an alternate universe. On the last day when we were doing touch-ups, we actually had to get JD to yell the time at us from downstairs so Mom wouldn’t miss her flight.

Thankfully, Decoylab has a great selection of clocks, one to pair perfectly in a group of pictures. What do you think?

Decoylab has amazing stuff – I bought one of her teapot clocks for my mom for Christmas last year! The elephant is beautiful too. Good choice, lady!

I hear you on feeling like you’re in an alternate universe! We don’t have much hung/installed in the new house yet, and I’ve been so lost without the clocks to constantly refer to. Also, LOVE the baby “effalent” :)

Oh gosh…the elephant wins hands down.
