Everlane Tees

August 29, 2012

We’re t-shirt people around our house. Boy do we love tees. I’ve been in hot pursuit of good, quality t-shirts for JD because a) he loves them, b) he looks good in them, c) he wears them out.  When we’re not at work, we’re just bumming around the house with Maggie, so there’s definitely a need for good quality shirts that can last a bunch of washings.

I had heard of Splendid tees, which are highly recommended. Apparently, they are great quality and extremely soft… but they are over $40. For a t-shirt?? No way.

Then… enter EVERLANE. I saw a post about them on Cup of Jo, and I thought they were worth trying. Basically, Everlane provides quality t-shirts in solid colors for … $15. Yep. They cut out the middle man and send direct to the customer.

So, I tried out two tees… one gray one for JD and a navy one for me. No tax and no shipping either. When they arrived, I put mine on right away. It was soft, awesome, and a great fit. (I could definitely see the tee being perfect for mornings at the Farmer’s Market or underneath a blazer at work.) Same for JD… good color, obviously good quality, and great looking on him. I’m sold!

I highly encourage you to check them out. It seems they have sold out of a few items after they received so much publicity from Cup of Jo blog, but I am giving you the big endorsement for these guys. Stock up!

Hi there! Found your post through google. I was wondering if you have washed the tees yet? I’m so tempted to buy but worried about how to wash them. The site recommends dry cleaning only. Thanks! :)

Hi Cheska, the tags on the tees actually say wash in cold water and tumble dry low. So far they look great after a few wears.
